TIJUANA.- Solidarity Festival for Haiti has joined the list of events that are organized to show support to the Haitian community in Tijuana. The Californias International University will hold next week an event where you can find not only music and dance, but also traditional food of haiti.
The objective of the event is that students engage socially with the migratory crisis by creating a cultural exchange between both countries and generate resources that can lessen the needs of this population.
Next Wednesday, March 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. you will be able to attend to exhibitions of Traditional Haiti food, dance, music, handicrafts, activities, and more.
The entrance will be in exchange for donations such as perishable foods, blankets, medicines, diapers and rice.
