On Wednesday, Arizona border patrol agents from the city of Nogales received some reports, of some people who were allegedly introducing illegal drugs into the United States.

As they arrived at the location they caught the smugglers red handed, which began a foot pursuit with the smugglers who began to throw rocks at the agents as they ran back to Mexico.

The agents stated that they had ordered the drug smugglers to stop and that they just continued to run and began to attack them with rocks, which some of the rocks were able to hit one of the agents that caused them to start shooting, and as of the result one of the smugglers was shot and killed.

Today a commander from the Nogales police department informed that the body of the alleged drug smuggler is located in Mexican territory, which caused a negative reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, that pointed out that this shooting is only around a week after another incident in which a border patrol agent was killed in the U.S. and Mexico border.

"It is imperative that the relevant U.S. authorities proceed with a timely and transparent investigation, and take it to its ultimate consequences," the ministry said in a statement.

The FBI has not commented on the incident, stating the investigation is currently still on going and cannot release any details at the moment.
