Numbers show that in the United States vinyl record sales reached $222.8 millions, a considerable increase from de $145.8 millions registered in 2014. This has been a good year for stores dedicated to the sale of this format, exceeding sales of internet orders regarding old and rates discs.

It's been 20 years since Pearl Jam's LP, Vitalogy leaded music charts by being one of the last and most sold vinyl records in history. Jack White broke that record with Lazarretto, which reached 60,000 sold copies, followed by Arctic Monkeys', AM, staying well behind with only 29,000 sold copies.
But don't worry, this isn't the beginning of the end for Spotify, iTunes or other music streaming services, let's not forget that this is the only industry to transition to a digital format. The music industry has yet to stop creating physical products, which makes it a diverse industry for everything and everyone.
