The revision conducted by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) over the debated victory by split decision of Timothy Bradley over Manny Pacquiao ended last Wednesday.

After a panel of judges analyzed the match, it was concluded that the Philippine boxer was actually the winner of the night; even so, it was informed that the official result would stay since the WBO has no authority to annulit.

In the fight held in Las Vegas on the 9th of June,Pacquiao suffered his first defeat since 2005; one of most controversial outcomes in the history of boxing.

With this defeat, Pacquiao also lost his WBO’s Welterweight title.

After the arguments arose, WBO’s President Francisco Valcárcel, informed that five judges would go through the fight’s video; this same team ruled in favor of Manny last Wednesday with score cards of 118-110,117-111, 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113.

Nevertheless, Valcárcel himself stated the WBO has no authority to repeal the decision, but there would be the possibility of a rematch if the promoters chose to have one.
