MÉXICO.- Mexico's not done fighting its government. Not now when it seems to start getting results. Every time it's political system silences and oppresses their students, the poor and other marginalized groups attempting to stand up for their rights, either through violence, divide and conquer strategies against political opponents or simply ignoring the problem until it goes away, and people tire of waiting for change.

Recently, 11 protesters (including a student from Chile) were arrested with charges of terrorism and attempted murder, simply because they were part of a national mobilization to demand justice in the Ayotzinapa case. They were aprehended with no right to bail, and confined to a maximum security prison.

People on social media, journalists and high profile artists responded to that with thousands of messages against the official reports given by the SEIDO (the federal government's organized crime fighting agency) to justify its decision to apprehend them. Even some of the most respected filmmakers in the country, such as Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pacific Rim), Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity) and Alejandro González Iñárritu (Birdman) protested the case, signing a letter addressed to Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto.

The protesters were set free yesterday after building pressure within and outside the country, via social media and on the streets. And this is just one of the many examples that we could give to demonstrate how strong and important the role citizens play every time they raise their voice against the constant abuse of power that's being displayed every day by police departments around the country.

Mexico is being heard through social media. It's working, and we feel the need to spread it further. And thats exactly why they the following video was born, what's happening in Mexico? here's the truth we all need to know and share.

"We didn't react when 49 children were burnt to death and 76 were injured in Sonora. 22 people were murdered in Tlatlaya, 45 in Acteal, 17 in Aguas Blancas. In all of these cases, the State was implicated."
