TIJUANA.- Independence Days are important and worth celebrating, just as you do in your "housewarming" party. So, why not take the chance of having fun at "Fiestas Patrias"? (Mexican Independence Celebration) south of the border, and see, eat, listen, and have fun surrounded by many colors?



Here are 5 places in Baja/Tijuana where you can have an awesome time with your family, friends, or your significant other this September 15th. Let's FIESTA!







1.- Monumento Mexico





The special guest of this celebration will be Cristian Castro, a famous Mexican singer. The show will be sponsored by the Tijuana City Government and it will be completely free.

Where? Monumento México, best known as "Las Tijeras." Starts at 4:00 pm.



2. – Tijuana Fair 2016





In place since August, the fair is slated to go out with a bang on the night of September 15th. The place may be packed thanks to all the fair rides, the delicious food, and of course, the good music.

You'll certainly have a great time at the fair, don't doubt it too much.



Where? Parque Morelos



Cover: $6.00 dlls and $2.50 dlls for children



3.- Viva Mexico at Valle!





Tijuana can be such a fun place to celebrate Mexico's Independence Day, but if you're more into calm and private events, you will always have El Valle de Guadalupe in Ensenada.



With $75.00 dlls you can visit the most important places at Valle, such as Sol de Medianoche, and enjoy of a Mexican dinner, which will include pozole, tostadas, sopes and more.



There will be free drinks during 3 hours (tequila, margaritas, cocktails, and beer), music, dance performances and fireworks. The bus leaves on September 15th at 5:30 pm in front of Pueblo Amigo in Tijuana.

4.- Playas de Tijuana





This part of the city is one of the most beautiful ones, not only because it's the beach, but for the many places in which you can hang out, and how you'll always feel safe in its family-friendly environment.



A show with dancing performances and concerts will be part of the celebration, plus, food stands will be ready to offer you traditional Mexican dishes and drinks.

Playas de Tijuana Boardwalk.



The event will start on September 14th until midnight, and from September 15th to the 17th from 5:00 pm to 2 am. Sunday celebration ends at 10:00 pm.

5.- Santa Cecilia Plaza





This is one of the most traditional places in Tijuana that every year organizes a colorful event where the vibe is amazing, besides, it always has awesome decorations.
