TIJUANA – Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles will join in the relief effort for hurricane victims all across Mexico. They will give away tickets to Thursday night’s CONCACAF Champion’s League (CCL) match against Club Deportivo Victoria in exchange for baskets full of food, clothes, and other relief items.

Hurricanes Ingrid and Manuel slammed into Mexico causing great damage. Only 3 states in the whole republic were unaffected by the natural disasters. The states of Tamaulipas and Guerrero have already declared a state of emergency.

At the moment there are already 130 confirmed deaths due to the hurricanes and as many people missing.

The Xolos will be collecting the help baskets outside out access number 1 in the Estadio caliente tomorrow night starting at 5:00PM. The basket must have a value of 100 pesos (about $8 USD) and in exchange they will give one adult ticket and one child (under 12 years old) ticket for the CCL game.

The match between Club Tijuana and Club Deportivo Victoria will kickoff at 7:00PM.
