TIJUANA – Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente held today a huge press conference to present their participation in the fight against prostate cancer. Club directors, a doctor, a cheerleader and the mascot El Xolo Mayor were in hand for the big announcement at the Estadio Caliente.

"Last month we participated in the breast cancer awareness campaign for the ladies; now it's time to take care of our gentlemen" was mentioned during the conference "The official slogan of the campaign: 'it's manly to take care of yourself'" was also announced.

Club Tijuana will continue to promote this campaign throughout various community events were El Xolos Mayor and the Xolo Girls will be on hand. There is some possibility of having a player or two participate as well, but that is yet to be determined.

One such promotional event will take place on Friday November 29 on what is being labeled as "Viernes de Perro" (Doggy Friday, making a parallel with the U.S.' Black Friday) in which there will be a 30% discount on all merchandise in all official Xolos Stores.
