TIJUANA, BC.- Everything is on Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente side, when the team receives this Wednesday the visit from Pumas de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) with the only objective of qualifying to the Quarter Finals of the 2012 edition of the Copa MX; only a victory will put Xolos on the other side of the qualification when they meet the Mexico City team at Estadio Caliente.

The match will start at 7PM and will decide the team from Group 6 that will have a shot at the crown by qualifying to the next round of the Mexican cup. Tickets are just 200 Mexican Pesos each, around 18 US Dollars. Season Pass holders, better known as XoloPass, will get to sit wherever they want for this game; hence the invitation is open to get to the stadium early to avoid losing a good seat.

At the moment, Venados del Mérida FC sits on top of the sixth block with 12 points, thanks to 3 victories, 1 draw and 2 defeats; which added to the extra points by winning their series has given the first position to the Yucatán team.

The second place is for Tijuana after 2 wins, 2 ties, and just one lost; adding every point, including the extra units, Xolos has now 9 points, with the possibility of getting to 13 if the beat the Pumas.

UNAM on the other had is already out of the race to qualify, as they seat right now on the third place with only 6 units, with the hopes to get to 10 which will not be enough for the Mexico City team to qualify at least as the best second place of every group.

This edition of the cup has been divided in 7 groups, qualifying to the next round every first place from each block plus the second best places overall.

At the end of the table, Toros de Celaya has been left with only 5 points.

To qualify

Obviously the best way for Xoloitzcuintles to qualify would be to get a win against Pumas UNAM by any score; this would lead the border squad to the first place of the group with 13 points, qualifying directly to the next round.

In case of a tie or a defeat, Club Tijuana would be eliminated and will not qualify even as the best second place overall, as this position has been taken by other teams from other groups.

It will be interesting to see what Argentinian Coach, Antonio Mohamed, has in store for this match, that seems as one of the best of the sixth week of competition of the copa, between 2 Primera División sides.
