El cantante cubano-americano Pitbull le pondrá el sabor latino a los Video Music Awards (VMA) 2011 que se entregarán este domingo 28 de agosto en el Nokia Theatre de Los Ángeles.

La cadena de videos MTV que respalda esta entrega, anunció que la estrella nominada a dos categorías, "Mejor Video Pop" y "Mejor Colaboración", interpretará "Give Me Everything" de su aclamado disco "Planet Pit".

En el evento también cantarán Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown y Young The Giant.

En la conducción destacan nombres como Selena Gómez, Seth Rogen, Kim Kardashian, Rick Ross y Odd Future.

Katy Perry es quien domina las listas de nominados en las que se incluye con "Mejor Video Pop", "Mejor Colaboración" y "Video del Año" por "Firework".

Adele, la cantante británica de quien se dice es la sustituta de Amy Winehouse, obtuvo siete nominaciones por su hit "Rolling in the Deep", el álbum más vendido en lo que va del 2011.

Los MTV Video Music Awards 2011 se transmitirán en vivo desde el Nokia Theater de Los Ángeles este domingo 28 de agosto a partir de las 8 p.m. hora local.
