Starbucks, one of the largest companies in the coffee industry seems to be affected by decisions taken by president Donald Trump. It's been enough so Starbucks has made a statement where they express their position towars refugees and even their Mexicans business partners.
Starbucks now plans on hiring 10,000 refugees during the next five years in the 75 countries where they have their branches.
This is how Howard Schultz, president and CEO of the company, let it know just before president Trump signed the executive order where he forbids the entrance to the United States to people from different Muslim countries. This order was immediately halted by a judge at the Federal court.
"We are living unprecedented moments", says part of the statement. The company also believes it is time to take action and strengthen relations with their business partners all around the world.
Starbucks will also support the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, mostly known as DACA, created by Obama in 2012 a decision that helps immigrant children without papers who are brought to the United States by their parents with the purpose of working our studying in the country.
Schultz said the company is ready to help and support all their clients and business partnerships.
