Authorities have uncovered a clandestine hangar in Valle de Mexicali, where they found drugs, a small aircraft, and stolen vehicles, according to official reports.
The operation, named “Operativo Valle,” took place on Friday, June 5, said Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda.
Inside the hangar, law enforcement discovered approximately 20 kilograms of cocaine, a small plane believed to have been used for illegal activities, and several vehicles with stolen vehicle reports. One individual with an active arrest warrant for homicide was taken into custody.

“We were in a security meeting in the municipality of San Quintín when we received the information. At that very moment, we deployed personnel throughout the entire Valle de Mexicali,” the governor said.
The operation was carried out in coordination with Baja California’s Special Security Forces, the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR), and the National Guard.
