Queen Letizia Of Spain Is Now A "Barbie"

The doll will be presented at the Fashion Doll Show

SPAIN.- Many members of European royalty, such as Kate Middleton and Lady Di, have already been transformed into dolls, so now King Felipe VI of Spain's wife, Queen Letizia, will have her own plastic version.

On September 11th, 12th and 13th during the Fashion Doll Show celebrated in Madrid, they will present the Queen's "Barbie" wearing a replica of the dress she wore to the dinner prior to the Dukes of Cambridge's wedding, a sleeveless light blue attire with see-through and silver details:

This "Barbie" was created by a Russian company called AFD Group, and it's believed to be one of the most sought out items among doll collectors, even though it won't be auctioned. Instead, it will be given to the Queen as a gift and token of appreciation, according to the event's organization:

"Artists have wanted to make this homage to the queen because they like her very much, they considered her elegant and the appreciate her. Which is why, the doll will be showcased during the event but will be given to Queen Letizia afterwards as a gift and will not be available for biding on our Ebay auction," pointed out the Fashion Dolls Collectors Association. The rest of the dolls will be sold online to benefit the ONG, "Un juguete una ilusión."
