For some people, vacations are ending, and all they're trying to do is to have as much fun as possible before returning to reality, right? You know, infinite homework and so little rest…

Okey, maybe we should not go into deep dark waters and talk good news. If you already spent all your money in your vacations it doesn't matter, because we have for you a list of FREE events you can enjoy this weekend without any struggle in Tijuana or San Diego.

Friday August 5th

1.- "Melbeat" goodbye and beer promos

This duet from Tijuana will say goodbye to the city at Nonis House due to their presentation in Hermosillo. Their music is a mix of Folk, Bossa and acoustic beat, there's no cover, but if you still got a bit of money you can buy a craft beer, a "tarro cubano" or even some of the delicious food you can find in this place. There will be promos so don't worry.

2.- Marilyn Monroe movies

You will be able to enjoy two films: The Prince and the Showgirl and The Misfits, to celebrate the anniversary of her death. Go and admire the work of one of the best actresses of the XX century.

Saturday August 6th

3.- Anime Wakai

This is the 8th edition of Anime Wakai and there will be a great variety of activities, such as tournaments, cosplay contests, drawing competition, karaoke, Pokémon Go walks and CANDY, among others. However, the main event will be the presence of Rene Garcia, the voice in Spanish of "Vegeta" from Dragon Ball.

Where? Esplanade of Palenque, Parque Morelos (Morelos Park).

4.- Fan Fest 2016 by Bud Light

San Diego chargers fans will have the opportunity of going to all camp practices of their favorite team, as well as being in the Fan Fest 2016 this saturday. The practice with the Arizona team will be on August 16th and everyone can go. The attendees can take their own food, but cigarettes and alcohol are not allowed. Parking is ALSO free, but only in Murphy Canyon Road.

5.- Expo Colectiva in Tijuana Streets

7.- Tijuana Farmers Market

This is a space dedicated to local consumption and health. This is an organization seeking to help residents of Tijuana through free classes of cooking, creation of brands, food, music, health, and others. The event will be Pet Friendly, so there will be treats for dogs, such as cookies and pretzels; also organic shampoos for fleas, eco-bags & more.

Where? Zona Rio, behind Mercado Hidalgo in the parking between restaurante Don Diego y La Fogata.

8.- Car Show Restaurant Row
