6 Events to Welcome October This Weekend in Tijuana

TIJUANA.- Weekend appears in the blink of an eye and it's always a good call to have a plan for it. Here is the list of events for the end of the first week of October.

Friday Oct. 6

1.-"Sin Escape" Opening

October is all about big moons and Halloween, so if you're a terror enthusiast you should pay attention to the opening of Sin Escape, where five terror labyrinths and four themed areas will be waiting for you.

  • Time: Friday and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am. Thursdays and Sundays from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am

Saturday Oct. 7

2.-Chetes & Carla Morrison: Entijuanarte

The Entijuanarte Festival arrives this Friday to the city and this year brings as a guest the state of Sinaloa. On Saturday, the stage will be invaded by local bands such as Entre Desiertos, Ziruela, Los Martes, Malverde Blues Experience, as well as Chetes and Carla Morrison. However that would not be all, since there will be more than 100 artistic activities.

  • Time: Saturday from 5:20 pm to 12:20 pm (concerts schedule)

3.-Allison

Mexican pop funk band Allison will be singing this weekend some of their songs such as "Memorama", "Matar o Morir", "Vamos Otra Vez", "ADDISI", "Llama Por Favor", among others.

4.-Film Series: Miedo (Fear)

This time the films in celebration for Halloween will be divided into sub-genres, such as zombies, vampires, psychological terror and serial killers, projecting four films from each category every Saturday of October, and this weekend will be all about vampires. It should be noted that the last showings of each Saturday will be held outdoors, while the others will take place in the CEART Cinema room.

Sunday Oct. 8

5.-Ska October Festival

As part of the Ska October Festival, bands like Los Hijos del Santo, Botanika, La Tomasa and Venezuelan band Desorden Público will get everyone dancing to the rhythm of ska.

6.-Natalia Lafourcade

Mexican singer Natalia Lafourcade will bring a great concert to the city where songs from her recent production "Musas" will be included, although of course you will not have to rule out the possibility of enjoying her greatest hits.
