Do you suffer from work stress? This could be caused to daily work habits that cause exhaustion to your brain. Some of the causes are distractions by our coworkers.

Those small interruptions that may seem insignificant damage the concentration on what you are doing, so it will take you between 5 and 25 minutes to resume the pace you had.

Therefore, health psychologist Ulrika Leons recommends moving away from your colleagues to reduce stress. Some tips to avoid distractions are:

  • Wear headphones: Listening to music when working helps you to concentrate more and have a better pace at what you are doing.
  • Isolate yourself: If you can, find a secluded space in the office where you are alone.
  • Get organized: Here you must set schedules. You can talk with your colleagues once you finish your work.

When the psychologist Leons herself has a lot of work, she follows these steps to avoid stress.
