After the outbreak of coronavirus in Baja California, the Department of Health has begun to identify the areas where there are more outbreaks of this virus and active cases in the communities of the region, through a geolocation platform which has helped to understand where there are people who are at risk of infection.
According to health authorities, their main concern is the shopping centers and large housing developments in the East part of the city of Tijuana.
According to the Head of the Department of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, in an initial analysis, they detected a problem near shopping centers on Bulevar 2000, where they found a large number of accumulated confirmed active cases, so they began implementing prevention strategies and specific actions at the site.
