Baja California remains on high alert with 17 thousand cases of coronavirus

This Sunday, August 30th, the course of the coronavirus in the state was revealed

This Sunday, August 30th, the Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, together with the current governor of Baja California, announced the update of the coronavirus passage in the state, which continues in maximum alert.

Currently the Mexican country registers more than 591 thousand cumulative positive cases and more than one and a half million Mexicans have been examined.

The state of Baja California has 16 thousand 836 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 3 thousand 127 deaths from this virus and 583 active cases reported, distributed in the State as follows:

Tijuana 5 thousand 207 accumulated cases
Mexicali 8 thousand and 87 cumulative cases
Ensenada 2 thousand and 99 cumulative cases
Tecate 427 cumulative cases
Rosarito 270 cumulative cases
San Quintin/Vicente Guerrero 460 cumulative cases
San Felipe 286 cumulative cases

Of the 3 thousand 127 confirmed deaths in the state, the city of Tijuana has one thousand 269, Mexicali one thousand 434, Ensenada 290, Tecate 97, Rosarito 16, San Quintin 19 and San Felipe 2.

It is important to take into account that California, in the neighboring country, registers almost 7 thousand cases daily, so they warn to take the necessary precautions not to catch the virus since Californians usually cross into Baja California.

Finally, an average of 17.9 deaths per day are registered in the state.
