Halls and hotels could be fined up to 400 thousand pesos for parties

If any of these places exceed 50 guests they can be fined or even closed down for 45 days

As it is well known, meetings or "posadas" are getting closer due to the Christmas season, however the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet in Baja California, so the Municipal Inspection and Verification Department warned event halls and hotels in Tijuana about the consequences they could have when they gather more than 50 people for the holidays during the month of December.

According to Adolfo García Dworak, the head of this agency, if any of these places fail to comply with the above, they could receive fines of up to 400,000 pesos and up to a 45-day closure.

In order to avoid these situations and above all further contagion from the current coronavirus, they are being notified in a timely manner.

This is in addition to what the Ministry of Health is doing regarding the reinforcement of sanitary measures in different public places, as well as the recent sanitization that this direction did from Las Brisas plaza to 5 y 10.
