These roads will close 8 days in Ensenada for the Baja 1000 race

From the afternoon of Sunday 15 and until the night of Sunday 22 of November it will not be possible to travel on this road

The Ensenada Municipal Public Safety Office will implement a special operation for the 53rd edition of the Baja 1000 race, which is scheduled for November 17-22, in this port of Baja California.

According to authorities, as part of this operation, the Ensenada Freeway will be closed, due to the adjustment of the route. As such, drivers will not be able to access the area in either direction, nor will they be able to access the area in different ways from Sunday, November 15th at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 22nd.

"This temporary closure will be carried out mainly at the junction of the Libramiento Ensenada and the Ensenada-San Antonio road, as well as at the crossroads formed between the Prolongación Ruiz and the street that leads to the Cobach of the Los Encinos neighborhood," said the authorities in a statement.

In this edition, the Libramiento Ensenada will be the inspection area, the start and finish line of the event, which will not have access to spectators in order to avoid crowds and possible COVID-19 outbreaks.

If you are a fan of these races, don't even think about going, as access to the area will be restricted.

It was reported that the event will adhere to strict health and safety protocols.
