UABC community opens conversation: Bullying and sexual harassment in university context

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences invites students to the table via zoom.

On November 15, 2020, the Autonomous University of Baja California announces and invited the university community and the general population to participate in the table " Bullying and sexual harassment in university contexts: the experience of female students".

The invitation is for this coming Friday, November 20, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. through Zoom at the following link.

In past semesters, students from the Autonomous University of Baja California hanged pictures denouncing harassment by students and teachers. Dozens of students anonymously pasted pictures of offenders in order to expose offenders within the school. The photographs were displayed on the UABC bridge and in various faculties of the university.

This is a great opportunity to talk about a social problem that has affected many people within the institution. If you want to be part of this event you can register online.

There will be special guests, participating: Carolina González from the Faculty of Pedagogy of UABC, Amanda Mitrovich Paniagua from the University of Santiago de Chile, Hannah Beeck from the University of Berlin Germany, Felicity Senam from the University of Cape Coast Ghana and Priscila Rosas from the Faculty of Human Sciences UABC.
