Adolfo García Dworak, director of Municipal Inspection and Verification, reports that the attractions were approved by the State Secretariat of Sustainable Economy and Tourism, after having presented a sanitary protocol for the fairs that would allow them to receive people.

In light of this, the State Government authorized the installation of three fairs that have rides in Tijuana, one of which is located next to Teniente Guerrero Park in the Centro delegation.

Dworak explains that it is an obligation for the operators to randomly check that the temperature is being taken, the application of antibacterial gel, the correct use of face masks, as well as respecting the safe distance are all carried out.

Those who install themselves without prior authorization will be closed down and will have to pay a fine, explains Dworak:

"Any establishment has to gather its protocol, either by presenting it to the Secretary of Economy of Tijuana and we in turn send it to the State Government and they return the authorization to us".

In turn, the director asked the approved establishments to designate an employee to ensure compliance with the healthy distance, both inside and outside the establishment.

The Coppel of the Soler neighborhood was sanctioned because the safe distance was not being respected, said Garcia Dworak.
