This Wednesday at 7 a.m. (Mexico City time), Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard shared a video from his Twitter account where he sees a DHL plane arrive in Mexico containing the first batch of Pfizer-Biotech vaccines from Belgium.

According to the updates, Mexico will immediately begin its vaccination plan and the first to receive the vaccine will be health personnel and then older adults. "The first target group will be the doctors and all the personnel who are fighting Covid and then the elderly and so on," confirmed the Chancellor.

As for the amount of vaccines to be received, Ebrard said that from today until the last day of January, Mexico will receive one million 417,658 donations from Pfizer. The next batch of vaccines will arrive on Tuesday and so every week.

The first entities to which the vaccines will arrive are Mexico City and Saltillo, and according to Mexico's president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, nearby states will be included. The vaccines that arrive will be received by Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Jorge Alcocer, Secretary of Health and Hugo Lopez Gatell, Undersecretary of Health.

- December 2020 - February 2021 health personnel
- February to April 2021- seniors
- April to May - people from 50 to 69 years
- May to June -people from 40 to 49 years old
- June to March 2022 - rest of the population
