Sierra de San Pedro Mártir Park and Constitución will be closed again

Both parks announced their closure due to the change of color to red of the traffic light by COVID-19 in Baja California

Through their Facebook accounts, the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir National Park and the 1857 Constitutión National Park, both located in Baja California, announced their temporary closure due to the change of color to red of the COVID-19 epidemiological traffic light chart in the state.

These parks have been closed since December 14, and according to the statement from both facilities, this closure is temporary and their reopening will be announced.

"The park will remain temporarily closed to safeguard the health of our visitors and staff," said the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir and the 1857 Constitution National Park, both located in Baja California.

For its part, the 1857 Constitución National Park asked the population not to travel to its facilities "until an official reopening statement is issued", in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the region.
