Do you cross through the Otay Port of Entry? These routes will be closed

These are some of the alternate routes offered by the road authorities.

The Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce informed that Caltrans and SANDAG continue the construction of the SR-11 Port of Entry Project so the closures of the following zones will take place until March 25.

Sunday, March 21 from 20:00 hours to 05:00 hours.

Will be closed: East SR-905 connector to East SR-11 and North SR-125 (SBX Toll Road).
Alternate Eastbound Routes: Continue eastbound on SR-905, Exit Siempre Viva Road or take northbound traffic, exit La Media Road and turn left, continue north to Otay Mesa Road and turn right, continue east to SR-125 north on-ramp (map 2).

Monday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 23 from 20:00 hours to 05:00 hours Monday, March 22.

Closed: East SR-905 connector to East SR-11 and North SR-125 (SBX Toll Road).
Alternate routes eastbound: Continue eastbound on SR-905, Exit Siempre Viva Road, or you can take northbound, Exit La Media Road and turn left, continue north to Otay Mesa Road and turn right, continue east to the SR-125 north on-ramp (map 2).

Total Closure: West SR-905 at Siempre Viva Road
Alternate Routes: take Siempre Viva Rd eastbound, turn left and continue north on Enrico Fermi Drive, use SR-11 westbound on-ramp (Map 1).

Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25 from 20:00 hours to 05:00 hours.

Total Closure: West SR-905 at Siempre Viva Road.
Alternate Routes: take Siempre Viva Road eastbound, turn left and continue north on Enrico Fermi Drive, use SR-11 125 westbound (Map 1).
