Mayor Karla Ruíz will work together with the Tijuana Women's Bar to guarantee transparency in Tijuana

Tijuana Women's Bar Association recognizes Mayor Karla Ruíz and will work together to guarantee transparency in Tijuana

The current mayor of Tijuana, Karla Ruíz Macfarland, was recognized by a bar association headed by Mónica Gómez Llanos because they consider that the mayor's work has addressed the needs of the people of Tijuana.

Likewise, the city authorities signed an agreement with the bar that will aim to work for transparency, access to public information and, above all, the fight against corruption, which Gómez Llanos acknowledged:

"As a bar of lawyers and professionals we are interested in having a transparent government, and also being the will of the municipal presidency of Tijuana, to make known both the actions, what they do, as well as all access to information they have for citizens, is that we decided to work together".

Tijuana's authorities affirmed that this collaboration with one of the city's most important bar associations will be very beneficial to achieve transparency in how public resources will be allocated.

The electoral ban, which prohibited the mayor and any other politician from campaigning for candidates or parties during the three days prior to the election, has already ended and this is why we have seen Karla Ruíz Macfarland active on social media again.

Not only was this new and important association announced, but they also communicated that through the initiative of the City Council, close to 4 million pesos will be invested to cover the lack of roads located in the Industrial Park.
