Mariachi Vargas comes to Tijuana this Saturday with a free concert

Those interested must present proof of vaccination to gain admission

Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán will give a free concert to the people of Tijuana next Saturday, July 31, as part of the celebration of the city's 132nd anniversary.

The concert will take place at the Minarete Esplanade of the Lázaro Cárdenas Federal High School, where people will be able to enjoy a popular festival and some other artistic activities presented by the Municipal Institute of Art and Culture (IMAC).

Even though the event will be held in an open air space, the State Health Secretariat authorized a maximum of 2 thousand 500 people for the on-site event, which will open its doors to the public starting at 5:00 in the afternoon, to begin with the great show that will be presented by Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán starting at 9:00 in the evening.

The Tijuana City Hall has begun the distribution of the 2 thousand 500 tickets authorized to attend the show, based on the specifications of the Public Relations Department, there will be no preferential seating. Access will be only for those over 18 years of age, who must show proof of the application of the vaccine against COVID-19.

Ticket distribution will be at Farmacias Roma, where three tickets per person will be available; while at Chevron gas stations, three tickets per vehicle will be distributed.

The local government continues with the protocols to avoid the spread of the coronavirus, in order to take care of the citizens in general and those attending the end of the celebrations, organized throughout the month for the anniversary of the foundation of Tijuana.
