After the viralization of the images of Amazon's new distribution center in Tijuana, endless comments were made by internet users, because of the strong contrast between the new and modern plant and the houses in one of the poorest neighborhoods of the city, which generated a lot of talk.

In response to this and a video made by the Aristegui Noticias portal on this same subject, the Amazon staff shared a statement with this portal, commenting that it seeks to promote the development of the border city by offering more than 250 jobs for Tijuanans.

"With the upcoming opening of our shipping center in Tijuana, we will generate more than 250 jobs with which we hope to contribute to the promotion of the social welfare of the people who live in the locality and thus continue to benefit thousands of Mexican families," the statement shared with Aristegui Noticias highlighted.

In addition to stating that Amazon Mexico's main commitment is to the development of the country and the communities where they are located and operate.
