BBVA network fails and leaves customers without money and services

Payments and transactions failed throughout Sunday

BBVA bank presented a failure in its entire operation network yesterday, Sunday, which left its customers without money.

ATMs responded very slowly and there was no cash available for withdrawals. On the other hand, people who tried to pay with their debit card were unpleasantly surprised that the terminals declined.

Users reported that the BBVA application also presented failures and intermittency.

The interruption affected all account holders in Mexico and lasted more than 10 hours.

The bank recommended people not to carry out operations while its functions were being restored.
