The largest and most modern hospital in the northwest of the country has just inaugurated its first phase in Tijuana.

This is the International Hospital, which will have an investment of around 150 million dollars.

The initial phase of the project was completed on September 10, after four years of construction and some delays due to the pandemic.

The new medical center is located near the San Ysidro border crossing in our city.

Frank Carrillo, President and Founder of SIMNSA, commented that the building is not even 50% complete, but he assured that little by little more phases will be opened.

The International Hospital will have 160 beds for the attention of its patients; it will also have highly trained personnel in all specialties and emergency areas, making it a place that competes in quality with any hospital on the planet.

Frank Carrillo recalled that 20 years ago SIMNSA attended to 100 thousand visitors, but nowadays it registers more than 2.5 million patients.

The hospital will not only serve SIMNSA patients but also private patients with other insurance policies and the general public, according to Dr. Priscila González, medical director of the International Hospital.
