Marina del Pilar and producer Emiliano Castro continue to promote cinema in Baja, California

The governor met with Aislinn Derbez and Emiliano Castro Vizcarra to present the "Hasta el Fin del Mundo" clapperboard

The Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar, was joined by Mexican actress Aislinn Derbez, actor Jonathan Kubben, and cachanilla producer Emiliano Vizcarra at the Laguna Salada on Friday to deliver the clapper of the start of the recording in the region of the film Until the End of the World.

The producer took advantage of the opportunity to reflect on his Baja California background, explaining that the state of Baja California has positioned itself as the capital of cinema since the release of the well-known Titanic film.

Aislinn Derbez, a well-known actress, expressed her gratitude for everyone's attendance and stated her excitement for the production of this film, particularly the filming in Baja, California. She also thanked the government for their assistance in making this film possible.

Marina del Pilar loved making use of the state's lovely scenery.

She explained that we have everything, all the settings: desert, sea from the Pacific or the Gulf; we indeed are space rich with talent in every manner.

Baja California is becoming the capital of cinema, as the governor pledged during the campaign, recalling that she previously met with renowned film actor Mel Gibson in the famed Caesar's restaurant in Tijuana to pursue a plan to exploit the state's film sector. He also mentioned that he joined Mexican actor José Maria Yazpik, who plays the "Lord of the Skies" in the Netflix series "Narcos, Mexico," on a visit to La Chinesca a few weeks ago.
