In Tijuana, they'll be vaccinating against Covid-19 on Saturday

In the morning and evening hours, four vaccination stations will be open

Following a spike in Covid-19 infections in Baja California, big vaccination days are being held on the weekend and in the evening to immunize the majority of the population, as declared by the Sanitary Jurisdiction Number 2. the city of Tijuana's points and schedules.

Four vaccination stations will be open this Saturday with morning and evening hours for people who want to get vaccinated for the first time, finish programs, or apply for vaccine reinforcement.

- El Trompo Museum, pedestrian area, from 08:00 to 14:00.

- IMOS, pedestrian area, from 08:00 to 14:00.

- Chevron Stadium, vehicular site, from 08:00 to 14:00.

- Sanitary Jurisdiction No. 2, pedestrian area, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

People who come to get vaccinated are urged to produce their registration on the portal https://mivacuna.salud.gob.mx and print it, if feasible, to make the vaccination procedure more efficient. AstraZeneca will be used for persons 40 years and older, educational workers, health personnel, police, firefighters, and adults over 60 years old, as well as for first and second doses in people 18 years and older, according to the FDA.

Pfizer will also provide first and second doses for minors turning 14 years old in 2022 and up to the age of 17 and complete schemes for the lagging adolescent population between the ages of 15 and 17.

According to health officials, only children under the age of 12 who have comorbidities will be vaccinated, who will present the clinical history.
