Governor Marina del Pilar introduces her baby to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador

The Governor used AMLO’s visit as an opportunity to show him her son, Diego José Torres Ávila

The relationship between Baja California Governor, Marina del Pilar, and Mexican President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, is notable, especially because of the respect and admiration he feels regarding her job in her state. That’s why, the Governor seized the opportunity during AMLO’s visit to introduce him to her son, Diego José Torres Ávila.

The Governor shared a photo on her official Facebook page, where one can see little Diego José in the arms of the President of Mexico. In her post, Marina del Pilar commented: “Diego José finally met the best president that Mexico has ever had.”

Following this, positive comment reactions to the picture began to appear. The comments highlight the governor’s work, as well as the little baby’s cuteness who is only a few weeks old.

The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, visited the city of Tijuana this February 17, where his morning press conference took place in Military Zone No. 2. There, Marina del Pilar was able to make a speech at the podium, and after that, the President was able to meet the Baja California Governor’s son.

During the same morning press conference, the president recognized the Governor’s job which is why she is being completely supported by the Government of Mexico and all of its agencies.
