Chevron gas stations are some of the most expensive in Mexico

Profeco published a list of the most expensive gas station companies in Mexico, with one of them being Chevron Corporation

Recently, the Consumer Federal Agency (PROFECO) published a list regarding the most expensive gas station brands in the country and Chevron Gas Stations were leading as one of the gas stations with the highest prices.

During his participation in President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s morning press conference, the head of PROFECO, Ricardo Sheffield Padilla, revealed that, up to June 3rd, the national price of regular gas was $21.91 pesos per liter, with premium gas at $23.82 and diesel steady at $23.22.

According to a comparison made, the most expensive gas stations brands areChevron, along with Windstar and Oxxo Gas. Meanwhile, Total, G500, and Orsan were gas stations that kept their price low.

In addition, he said that from June 3rd to June 9th, 180 reports were made against gas stations through the “Litro por Litro” application with 150 verification visits carried out, with none of them refusing to be verified.

Taking into account the great profit gains by brand and region, Súper Gasolineras de la Frontera, of the 76 franchise, located in Hermosillo, Sonora, had the highest price at $23.99 per liter for regular gas, while the highest price for premium gas was in Monterrey at Orsan del Norte gas station of Mobil.

Chevron Corporation is an American oil company that started in 1911 in California after the breakup of Standard Oil, under the name of Standard Oil of California. It should be mentioned that it managed to remain as the biggest company in the world for over 40 years, becoming one of the most important gas stations in the United States.
