Intense heat will arrive in Tijuana next week

Other areas in Baja California will also be affected by these temperatures

Though summer vacation in Tijuana is in its last stages, it still hasn’t completely said goodbye. As proof of this, temperatures next week will stay above 31°C.

According to National Meteorological Services, the Baja California peninsula will be affected by several meteorological phenomena such as rainfall, wind gusts from 50 km/hr to 60 km/hr, and high temperatures that could reach 45°C in some areas.

The Weather Channel extended forecast revealed that high temperatures in Tijuana will begin on Wednesday, August 21 when it will reach 32°C. On Thursday, it will descend one degree to 31°C. On Friday and Saturday, it will go back to 32°C, and on Sunday, September 4, heat will rise all the way to 33°C.

It should be noted that on the first days of the week (Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30), temperatures will remain at 26°C to 29°C. Next week, rainfall probabilities will range from 2% to 14%. It is important for the general public to protect themselves against climatic conditions to avoid heatstroke, use sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
