Marina del Pilar administration provides training for Baja Californian companies to export products

The Secretariat of Economy and Innovation organized the 1st Foreign Trade Forum in Mexicali

The Secretariat of Economy and Innovation invites everyone to the 1st Foreign Trade Forum “Exportar es fácil - Conociendo para crecer” (Exporting Is Easy – Learning to Grow) which will take place in Mexicali next September 6 in coordination with Grupo Septem at the Isóptica room of Preparatoria-Universidad 16 de Septiembre.

The event coordinated by the Entrepreneurship and Business Development Agency has as a goal to give manufacturing companies and entrepreneurs specialized information regarding foreign trade. This will be carried out through thematic panels where both real experiences and tools to build export projects nationwide and internationally will be presented.

“It is important that participants of this event learn all about these procedures so they can export their products. They also need to understand the commercialization process if they want to send their products somewhere else in Mexico. They will also listen to real experiences from a group of experts regarding the internationalization of their companies,” explained the Subsecretary of Economic Promotion, Michelle Guerrero Jaimes.

Another important thing to learn is that they recognize the importance and advantages of formalizing company processes as well as interacting with other panelists, producers, and consultants so they can establish future commercial alliances and be a part of a group of manufacturing companies and providers.

This event is organized with help from Grupo Septem, a foreign commercial services company which has more than 10 years of experience solving issues to unite clients and providers in the supply chain.

At this forum, the participation by master speaker Pablo Aguirre will be one of the highlights with his subject matter, “Practical tips on the search for trustworthy providers in China”. Agencies such as the Secretariat of Agriculture and Food Security and the Secretariat of Fish and Aquaculture will also participate, where they will show the aid that companies can received from the state. It is expected that 200 participants take part in this forum which will take place in hybrid and in-person formats. It is important to note that this is a free event, open to the public at large, people from the business sector, and students.
