Snow melts in San Pedro Mártir, but Laguna Mountain in San Diego is still white

This mountain is appealing not only during Christmas season and snowfalls as it can be a pleasant visit during normal times

Yesterday, the first snowfall of the season arrived in Baja California and the mountainous areas of San Diego. Several of the most iconic places such as Laguna Mountain and San Pedro Mártir were painted white and everyone is very excited to enjoy the snow.

However, there are two things of note: some good news and some bad news. First the bad news: snow in San Pedro Mártir has melted and it can barely be seen in most of the area. Don’t worry, however, as there is some good news.

The good news is that snow still remains in Laguna Mountain and the surrounding areas have shown a beautiful white landscape that will probably continue until tomorrow. Another good news is that this place has lodging so you can enjoy the landscape.

It should be noted that this place, although it is not as big as San Pedro Mártir, it is only a few hours away from the San Ysidro border crossing. If you check your GPS, it will reveal that, if you’re at the port of entry or in Downtown San Diego, you will only need to drive one extra hour to get there.

So, what do you say? You want to see the snow? Now is the right time!
