FESC arrests man for possession of firearm in Tijuana

The individual tried to avoid the police by hiding in between parked vehicles at Colonia Buena Vista

Citizen Security State Forces (FESC) arrested in Tijuana, at Colonia Buena Vista, an American man for possession of firearm and 2 loaded cartridges as part of a prevention and surveillance operation whose goal is to recover the peace of Baja Californian streets.

The individual identified as 36-year-old Raúl “N”, a Los Angeles, California native, acted suspicious by running and hiding between parked cars. When he was approached by state authorities, he was asked about this action and he answered that he was only resting a little bit.

However, officers affiliated with the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC) were able to see how the individual threw a regular-sized backpack under one of the vehicles.

When they checked the objects inside the backpack, they confirmed that inside there was one .40 mm pistol gun, as well as 2 magazines, each one loaded with 2 working .40 mm caliber cartridges.

As such, Raúl “N” was cuffed and his constitutional rights were read as he was being arrested. He was immediately sent and transferred to the Mexican Attorney General Office (FGR).

Citizen Security State Forces continue to tour the streets of Baja California and will continue to detain every person trying to disturb the peace and tranquility of Baja Californians. This is why SSCBC has called on for everyone to work together, because we are all part of our own safety.
