Break your routine! 4 events in Tijuana that will take place this weekend

Music, coffee, and a lot of fun for the whole family

Don’t know where to go? Here we have some recommendations of concerts and events for this weekend.

1) Daniel, Me Estás Matando

The famous Mexican band Daniel, Me Estás Matando will be performing in Tijuana on Friday, December 9 at 8 PM, at the Black Box Tijuana venue.

Tickets are already sold out, according to a statement by Black Box on their official Facebook page; however, fans’ reaction to this famous band coming was a big surprise and they are demanding a new date or more tickets. If a new date opens up, we’ll let you know.

2) Tijuana Huele a Café

If you love coffee or simply enjoy a coffee in the morning every now and then, this could be one of your favorite events of the year: the sixth edition of "Tijuana Huele a Café 2022".

Next Saturday, December 10 the latest edition of this event will take place at the Hipódromo Caliente parking lot from 1 PM to 9 PM. Here you can enjoy music, food, and a lot of coffee of different varieties.

Like the previous editions of Tijuana Huele a Café (Tijuana Smells Like Coffee), entry is completely free and it is 100% family friendly with an excellent music lineup, as bands will perform live.

3) ''Feliz No Navidad'' Film Series

Tijuana’s Cultural Center (CECUT), has a nice surprise for the film lovers of Tijuana as they will screen at the Carlos Monsiváis room in Tijuana, some movies that have some relation with Christmas and became Christmas film classics.

As shown above, this weekend 2 movies of the 4 will be shown in December. The first screening will be ”Die Hard” on Friday, December 9 at 8 PM by director John McTiernan, released in 1988, and the second one will be ”Gremlins” on Saturday, December 10 released in 1984.

You can buy your tickets online for any of the 4 movies or for any event that is part of CECUT’s cultural program at www.cecut.gob.mx. You can also buy them physically by going to the ticket booth of CECUT or any of their shops.

4) Emprendedor Fest

In order to promote business projects and helping a social cause, the sixth edition of “Emprendedor Fest” will take place on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11 at the CECUT terrace.

This is a free family friendly event, where you will be able to do your Christmas shopping and help support entrepreneurs. This is an event for a cause, as it will help support the binational foundation Tijuana Sin Hambre, an organization that helps over 90,000 poor people who live in the city.
