65.8% of Baja Californians approve of Governor Marina del Pilar’s job

Due to high approval ratings, Marina del Pilar was ranked #2 among all governors

The governor of Baja California has always had excellent approval ratings with the citizens of her state, which is why it is not surprising that a new poll has ranked her with one of the highest approval ratings among governors.

That’s right! According to a poll carried out by pollster Demoscopia Digital, who was in charge of monitoring the approval ratings of the 32 state leaders of Mexico, Marina del Pilar is one of the best governors of Mexico with an approval rating of 65.8%.

The governor of Baja California is currently ranked #2, only bested by a few decimals by Julio Menchaca of the MORENA party, who had an approval rating of 66.5% in January 2023.

Something to note is that Marina del Pilar also had a higher approval rating than the Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, who was ranked #4 and was placed below the aforementioned governors and Esteban Villegas, governor of Durango.

Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda has been in office for 14 months and has stood out for paying attention to issues than had been ignored in previous administrations. Thanks to her efforts, she has had high approval ratings from the citizens of Baja California.

On the other hand, the same poll revealed that the most popular Baja Californian municipal president is Norma Bustamente (Mexicali), while Tijuana mayor, Montserrat Caballero, is in last place.

It should be noted that this poll was made through direct forms sent to WhatsApp users: men and women of over 18 years of age of all socioeconomic classes between January 25 and January 30, 2023. This pollster has a trust rate of 95%.
