Zara opens biggest branch in Mexico at Península Tijuana

The 7 most awaited Inditex brands of the year opened their doors in the border city

Commercial shopping mall Península, only a few months after its official inauguration in Tijuana, welcomed seven brands of the Inditex group, one of the biggest and most important fashion manufacturing and distribution companies in the world, and brand leader in Mexico.

Awaiting the opening of these stores, which announced their inaugurations last year, people arrived at 10 AM, which was the time when the flagship store of this group, Zara, was inaugurated.

With 2 stories and 3,700 square meters, the Zara branch in Tijuana is now the biggest in Mexico. In addition, they launched a special collection for men called “Rhuigi” and one for babies called “New Born”; this is the only store in the country where these collections are available.

In addition, six more stores of the Inditex family were opened, each one with an innovative and different proposal: Bershka has an urban style and a variety of colors; Pull and Bear has a Californian style, young and adapted to the colors of our region, and Stradivarius focuses on women’s lifestyle, for each of her life stages.

Oysho, another inaugurated store, has a great sports collection with waterproof technology. Zara Home has collections for each home space with a great variety of materials. Lastly, there is Massimo Dutti, their premium brand, with sophisticated suits and total look outfits.

The Director of Communication and Marketing at Inditex, Lizbeth Luis, stated that each store is meant to create a unique and satisfactory experience, which is why the stores were designed based on technological, digital, and urban trends.

“The last image of the country can be found in Tijuana” in these 7 stores at the Península shopping mall which will appear for the first time in Baja California with international designs focused on Generation Z, stated Lizbeth.

Península Managing Director, Héctor Miguel Padilla, also attended the inauguration and stated that the city spends 11 billion dollars every year shopping when crossing into the United States and the goal is to retain this for the economy of Tijuana with a very competitive offer when compared to American prices.
