Easter is just one week away, however, Balboa Park and the Department of Parks and Recreation of the City of San Diego wanted to celebrate in advance and organized a completely free activity for those visiting the park this Saturday.

This event is an Easter egg hunt which will be completely free and will take place on Saturday, April 1 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Morley Field Sports Complex, which is located in the northeastern corner of Balboa Park in Morley Field Dr. (Passive Area 5).

The egg hunt will begin at 11 AM, but that’s not everything that will happen at this fun event. All attendants will also be able to enjoy several available activities such as making arts and crafts, carnival games, and fun for the whole family.

Both Balboa Park and the Department of Parks and Recreation of the city ask people interested in participating to come with their own egg baskets so that they don’t have any problem carrying them. If you have any questions about this event, you can get in contact directly with the city on Facebook and Instagram.
