Armed teenagers are arrested in Tijuana by State Forces

These young men were carrying weapons while driving a Mitsubishi Mirage

Agents of the State Forces of Citizen Security (FESC) arrested a young man and a teenager who were driving a car carrying a long and a short-range weapon. After this monitoring and preventive operation, both were sent over to the proper authorities that will determine their legal situation.

Agents of the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC) stopped these young men at Bulevar General Sánchez Taboada between Felipe Carrillo (Tercera) and Benito Juárez (Segunda) Avenues; they were driving a 2018 gray Mitsubishi Mirage vehicle and had already shown suspicious activity in front of the police.

The young man and teenager were identified as 27-year-old Efraín “N” alias ‘El Flaco’ and 17-year-old Cristopher Misael “N” a.k.a. ‘El Misa’, both Tijuana natives. They were requested to accept a preventive inspection; nothing suspicious was found being carried by these individuals, but inside the vehicle the following items were located:

A .9 mm Glock firearm with 9 useful cartridges

A .223 carabine firearm with 25 useful cartridges

This is why both were immediately arrested and, along with their seized weapons, turned over to the proper authorities so as to determine their legal situation due to the crime of carrying firearms that are of exclusive use for the Mexican Army.

FESC has committed agents with Baja Californians, as they will arrest all people who pretend to negatively impact the social harmony and peace of Baja California. We will keep working permanently in the streets to stop criminal acts.
