This competition will take place from May 17 to May 21 at Estadio Tlahuicole, in the capital of Tlaxcala.

"We have high expectations for this group in that they will be eventually considered for the national team. Besides the observations, adjustments, and work done by the coaches, they have also received advice from Luis "Abuelo" Álvarez", said Margarita Peña, chief of the Department of Parasports of INDE BC.

The Baja Californian team is led by athletes Lili Montiel, Karen Rocha, Pedro Zamora, and Jorge Monraz, and the coaches are Damián Félix and Manuel Díaz.

This competition is the first of two filters that were set as a national criteria for the national team which will be the basis to create a Mexican team that will compete at the 2023 Pan and Parapan American Games in Santiago de Chile.
