The bank, that follows the social vision of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, already has 23 branches in operation

Baja Californian Governor, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, reaffirmed her commitment to collaborate with the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, during the inauguration of the new Banco del Bienestar branch in Mexicali. This is in order to promote the delivery of social aid for people who need it the most in the state, creating institutional capacities and resources in order to provide citizens with the adequate social life that they deserve.

“A high percentage of families in our country receive aid from the government of Mexico, such as seniors, people who work on fishing, single mothers, people with disabilities, as well as educational projects such as Escuela es Nuestra, Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro, the Benito Juárez scholarships, among other important wellbeing actions for everyone, “she said.

Accompanied by the head of the National Commission of Aquaculture and Fishing (CONAPESCA), Octavio Almada Palafox, Marina del Pilar highlighted the intention by President López Obrador of integrating and writing in social aid in the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States so that no interests can take it away from the people of Mexico.

The state governor emphasized that Baja California has 23 Banco del Bienestar branches currently in operation, where beneficiaries of social programs from the government of Mexico can go to receive their aid at the proper time, as it is a public institution with social vocation.

She spoke about the actions that the state government is doing to directly benefit families, especially social programs offered by the Secretariat of Wellbeing of Baja California and infrastructure projects that improve the mobility and quality of life of all people, especially children, teenagers, seniors, people with disabilities, and single mothers. These groups have become a priority for the governments of the Fourth Transformation.

Lastly, the governor recognized the work by Almada Palafox in CONAPESCA and the construction and supervisions of the several Banco del Bienestar branches, as she works daily across the entire country instructed and encouraged by the social vision of the Fourth Transformation and President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
