Expo TlaquepArte returns to Rosarito: the most important handicrafts event in Mexico

From September 1 to September 4, people will be able to contemplate for free handcrafted creations by artists from more than 15 countries

The most important artistic event of the year is coming back to Baja California. Expo TlaquepArte will take place from September 1 to September 4, 2023 at the Convention Baja California Center in Playas de Rosarito.

TlaquepArte has been consolidated in Mexico and abroad as the most important handicrafts exhibition, as it gathers the best from 16 counties and 23 Mexican states in just one place. There, they will exhibit handicraft, jewelry, gifts, decorations, and traditional gastronomy from different parts of the world.

Some of the wonders that you'll find at this event are ceramics and blanket garments from Jalisco, sombreros from Panama, paintings from Peru, lamps from Turkey, coffee from Colombia, carved wood from Ecuador, rugs from Egypt, folklore from Africa, exotic wood from Cuba, among many products.

As an attendance of approximately 45,000 people, among them wholesale buyers and the public at large, is expected, most artisans will accept card payments. However, it is recommended that one brings cash.

Throughout its 105 editions, TlaquepArte organizers have had a solid history with 21 years of experience in creating exhibitions, business meetings, and cultural and sports events in Mexico and the United States.

It will open from 10:30 AM to 8 PM during the weekend from September 1 to September 4. It should be noted that admission will be free.

States of Mexico that will participate:

Campeche, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Tlaxcala, Yucatán, Zacatecas, and Mexico City.
