Mayor Montserrat Caballero supports Tijuana native entrepreneurs with more than 1 million pesos

The municipal president of Tijuana delivered 60 food carts

Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, the mayor of Tijuana, delivered 60 carts for food sales, thanks to an investment of more than 1 million pesos to support the working class.

Gathered in front of a group of merchants at the Monumento a la Madre terrace, Caballero Ramírez recognized the value of everyone who decided to start a business to provide economic support for their families.

For the mayor, it is always a great satisfaction to receive, listen, and support women and men who follow their dreams, who fight, and who overcome obstacles to achieve their goals, she emphasized.

The mayor recognized that with the delivery of these food carts, the 24th Municipal Administration of Tijuana is helping a little bit to boost the talent of 60 families who will benefit and who have teamed up with a government that transforms.

Montserrat Caballero congratulated everyone's attitude, for deciding to become entrepreneurs and for looking for the guidance and support they have a right to as this government has an obligation to help them to continue creating a more prosperous Tijuana.

"I must say that our Senior Official and our Treasurer make an extraordinary duo so that the money is enough and is well spent. These are the kinds of days why I come to work, because we have to make a community and if a business is doing well, we did our job well," the mayor said.

The Secretary of Wellbeing, Gerardo López Montes, recognized all merchants that received their taco, hot dog, or burger cart last year and who are still in business. He also recognized mothers who are looking to create a better quality of life for their children through "Construyendo Bienestar".
