Museum at Balboa Park will celebrate Easter with egg hunt and activities

There will be candy and many activities to do

Attention to all candy lovers and Easter fans! The San Diego Model Railroad Museum, located in Balboa Park, has just revealed an event that you won't want to miss.

This event, that can be accessed with a ticket before regular hours, will immerse children in an egg hunt through the entire museum, with special trains riding through the Toy Train Gallery, arts and crafts activities, and Storytime with the Easter Bunny.

When will this event take place and what does the ticket include?

This event will take place on March 23 and March 24 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, with an option to stay even longer inside San Diego Model Railroad Museum facilities.

The event is for children 2 years of age or older and admission has a price of $20 dollars that will allow for the following:

- An immersive egg hunt that involves finding hidden details in train models and answering questions about trains.
- Story time from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM
- Arts and crafts opportunities to create Easter decorations
- Special hours early in the morning and access to the museum for the whole day
- Children must be accompanied.
