Andrea Benitez, daughter of the director for the Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO), had a team of inspectors sent to close down a restaurant that is located in the Roma neighborhood in Mexico City. The reason why? Simple, when she first arrived at the restaurant without a reservation, and was not attended immediately and given a table, she then proceeded to make a complaint.
First she expressed herself via twitter, and then called her father, Humberto Benitez Treviño.

"Maximo Bistro" is the place that suffered the tantrum of "Andy" on Friday at 3:00p.m., when she went to this place for lunch with a friend and had to wait like everyone else for thirty minutes for a table.
Gabriela Lopez, who is the owner of the restaurant, said that the young lady was waiting for her turn and got upset and threw a tantrum. She then began throwing her dads name around. Threatening to tell on them with her dad and saying "we will see who you will believe more." Andrea then left the restaurant annoyed and making it clear that they were going to inspect the restaurant.
Two hours later, three inspectors were there ready to do their job and put up three seals closing down the place for alleged "irregularities." These inspectors, who did not care that there were people still eating, shut the place down and even pushed one of them who also filed a complaint.
These inspectors must have not remembered that we live in the digital era and did not stop and think for a minute that someone might be recording their actions. Well, this is exactly what happened. They were being recorded which caused them to leave running out of the place and locked themselves in a truck until back up arrived.

As the result of this incident, the Ministry of Public Administration (SFP) has now initiated an investigation against PROFECO by orders of President Enrique Pena Nieto.

The Ministry of Finance said in a statement that PROFECO is in a process of restructuring and that one of its main objectives is to act according to the law, which is something that is believed to not have happened on Friday at the restaurant because of "Andy's" tantrum.
After a complaint was filed against PROFECO on this matter, Humberto Benitez Trevino offered an apology to anyone who has been affected by what he called the "inappropriate behavior" of his daughter Andrea.

"She exaggerated the situation and the authorities of the Profeco, who depend on me, overreacted being that it was about my daughter", said Humberto Benitez in a statement issued on Sunday at night.
