Tijuana Zonkeys got out the broom and swept the Nogales Fuerza Guinda in their own gym, by beating them 80-67 for the third consecutive game, in the first round of the 2013 Playoffs of the Basketball Circuit of the Pacific Coast (Cibacopa in Spanish).

Marcus Morrison was the best scorer of the night with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assist and scoring 4 three-pointers out of 7 tried. The Florida-born player was supported by Mugame Thomas with 17 units, and 12 by Omar Quinter and James Penny. Penny and Thomas were exceptional under the ring where they won 8 rebounds each.

For the Guindas the best man was Louis McCullough with 20 units, while Ryan Moss scored 13 and Justin Griffing 12.

The series is now 3-2 in favor of the Tijuana squad, which will have a chance to end the series and go to Semifinals on Tuesday at 8PM in the basketball court of the Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana.

Tickets will go out on sale starting on Monday morning at 9AM, in the Oficial Tijuana Zonkeys Store located inside the auditorium.
